I love real estate. It is that simple. But the reasons why are so complex. Both Property Education and Real Estate Sales are major parts of my life and I believe that they are a great vehicle for wealth creation for the average Australian today.
Having been involved with property and real estate for over 25 years I have come to realise that it is a great resource for providing as great a level of wealth as you wish to make. The more effort you put in and the more risks your personality can allow you to take the greater the returns that are availble.
But also, a word of warning, there is the risk of loss. Of losing money on a deal, selling property at the wrong time in the market cycle, the bigger the deal the bigger the potential for loss. This is where real estate education comes into play. I feel that this is crucial, the most important point. Learn as much as you can about your chosen field, your investing genre. Also, you may need to increase your skill levels in general. Computor skills, home maintenance skills etc. Or if there are skills that you don't wish to learn then you need to find people with them and have them as part of your team of experts.
This team of experts will include a mentor, solicitor, accountant and other specialist service providors that are relative to your property interests.
